Sick Care
It’s hard when your little one is not feeling well, so we strive to make our sick care visits as convenient and effective as possible. We offer same-day appointments whenever possible because we believe the best quality care is in person. We also know sickness doesn’t wait, which is why we offer expert care after hours 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our on-call care team member is ready to listen and help you through the next steps to ensure your child receives the best care he or she needs to get better.
Well Care
A healthy child is a happy child, and Lakeside Pediatrics provides the expert care needed to keep all of our patients thriving. By building and fostering a relationship, we’ll help you all receive individualized care that fits your needs. Our wellness visits evaluate if your child is hitting all the milestones of physical and behavioral development and receives preventative care such as immunizations.
Sports Physicals
We also want to keep your athlete in optimal shape! We offer sports physicals required annually for school sports participation in any Polk County school. These are not the same as a wellness visit but can be scheduled in conjunction with a well-visit exam.
Infant & Newborn
Becoming a mom for the first or even fourth time is a life-changing experience and we look forward to caring for your growing family. Our complimentary new mom consultations give you a look into the quality care you can expect at Lakeside Pediatrics and get you acquainted with our staff so you can rest assured your newborn will be well taken care of after birth. Our Board-Certified Pediatricians will schedule an appointment for you and your newborn to make sure you’re both healthy and well after discharge. We’re proud to have three International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants on our staff to help you with issues that may arise during breastfeeding.
Behavior & Development
A child’s mental health is just as important as his or her physical health. Our expert pediatricians are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage multiple mental health conditions to help your child thrive. Some of the most common behavioral and mental health conditions children face today include anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
