Please Note: At least one biological parent must accompany the patient on the first visit in order for our providers to capture the fullest history of the patient’s care to date. Please also bring any medications the child may be taking. Exceptions include adopted patients and those children in the care of the Department of Children and Families (DCF).

After-Hours Care
We have a provider on call 24/7/365. When our office is closed overnight and you have an urgent issue that cannot wait until morning, you can call 863-688-3550 and the provider on-call will give you advice regarding your child’s problem.
Insurance and Billing
Insurance copays are expected to be paid at the time of service. If you are unable to comply, you must speak with the billing department prior to the visit to set up a payment plan.
Our billing staff will do their best to assist you with insurance questions; however, if you have questions about your coverage, it is best to check with your specific insurance company. It is your responsibility to know the limits and coverage of your particular health insurance policy.
Scheduling Appointments
You can schedule appointments by calling our front office, or you can schedule an appointment online. We do offer walk-in appointments if necessary; however, walk-in appointments are seen in the first available sick visit appointment slot and will not be called back before a scheduled visit.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes per child being seen before your scheduled appointment time. We understand sometimes things happen beyond your control that may cause you to be late. However, we reserve the right to ask you to reschedule if you arrive late for your appointment.
Missed Appointments
Our practice makes every effort to run on time with appointments, as we believe everyone’s time is equally valuable. As a courtesy, we will remind you of your upcoming appointments via phone/text message/email.
We request 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of appointments. We reserve the right to charge a fee for canceled or missed appointments.
The third missed appointment may result in discharge from the practice. For new patients, two consecutive missed appointments will result in dismissal.
Vaccines
Our vaccine policy follows the schedule outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Antibiotics
We will prescribe an antibiotic when we believe it is an appropriate treatment.
We educate families on the appropriate use of antibiotics and follow evidence-based guidelines to avoid overprescribing. We do not routinely prescribe antibiotics over the phone as we do not believe that is good medicine.
Multiple Chronic Conditions Care
Children with multiple chronic conditions can be overwhelming at times for parents to care for. Our providers will help you plan for the care your child will need.
Referrals Management
There are times during your child’s growth that they will need the care of a specialist. When that time comes, our trained staff will help you find the right provider, therapist, or clinic who will be able to meet your child’s needs.
Ear Piercing
Our trained clinical staff and the familiarity of a controlled environment provide you with the peace of mind for this process. We only use hypoallergenic, titanium piercing studs which are available with stones in varied colors.
