Sairah Chachad


Sairah Chachad, M.D. is an American Board of Pediatrics certified pediatrician and serves as Medical Director of Lakeside Pediatrics. Dr. Chachad received her formal training at Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair hospital in Mumbai, India and completed her pediatric residency at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She is also the Quality Improvement Director of the practice, which has attained the highest possible rating from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Understanding that children require more than just medicine, the mother of two brings her sincere affection for children to serve the little ones of Polk County. Drawing strength from her unique personal experiences as a mother, she strives to promote the health of children in her community by bringing her expertise and providing valuable insight to the Polk Vision team at the Polk County Health Department. She has volunteered at Polk County High Schools, providing free annual sports physicals to high school athletes and mentoring students.

 In her professional capacity, Dr. Chachad maintains close ties with medical affiliations in Lakeland and strives to create a positive impact in her community. She is Medical Director of Central Florida Physicians Alliance, and has served as Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Lakeland Regional Health, where she also was a member of the Medical Executive Committee and the Breastfeeding Task Force.

Dr. Chachad has published extensively in several journals and pediatric publications. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In her leisure time, she enjoys the company of her family, loves to read and travel. Dr. Chachad welcomes new patients for well and sick visits.
